In this area we have land close to Kalkan and the Patara region. Historic Patara is famous for its golden sandy beach, which was rated as the best beach in the world by The Sunday Times. Being 9miles long, it’s the longest beach in the Mediterranean, features child-friendly shore and flanked only by ancient ruins and swooping dunes with no buildings in sight. Some 10 minutes further and you arrive in the harbour town of Kalkan. Kalkan is a lovely small hilltop town that overlooks a tiny bay. Its quaint, traditional, white-washed houses, shuttered windows and balconies, and narrow winding streets lined with souvenir shops leading down to the charming harbour where there is an abundance of restaurants make this Turkish Region the ultimate in a peaceful holiday town or place to live in Turkey. Kalkan property prices have soared in the area and we expect Kakan real estate prices to continue rising, as the charm of this area continues to be discovered. Dalaman:
Close to the main airport, Dalaman has recently been granted coveted “Tourism Status”. With several first-class 18 hole golf courses planned and one currently under way, Dalaman property is set to become a very attractive investment. Beautiful Sarigerme Beach and many archaeological sites are close by too.
 Ciftlik:
On a gentle hill above Calis and Fethiye, Ciftlik is a beautiful traditional Turkish town, offering both tranquillity and convenience. Most of Ciftlik has stunning mountain or sea views, local amenities are good and a ten- minute ride on a local “Dolmus” will take you to Calis and Fethiye where restaurants, bars and shops are aplenty.  Gocek:
Known as the “St. Tropez of Turkey”, the marina here is packed with beautiful yachts all summer long and is visited by many of the world’s rich and famous. Only 20 minutes from Dalaman airport and Fethiye, this again is an ideal location for your own Turkey property.
 Kemer:
This is a characterful traditional Turkish town. Away from the centre on the mountainside, we have some of the most picturesque land, suitable for building hunting type lodges and stone cottages. An easy 20 minute drive brings you to Fethiye. This area will become increasingly important due to the recent arrival of the ski resort at nearby Seke. The climate here is such that you will be able to ski on one day and picnic on a nearby beach the next. This is also a great opportunity for round-the-year rentals.
 Koycegiz:
A beautiful lush area incorporating Dalyan and “Turtle Beach”. Here you can find carved tombs dating back to Lycian times and one of the most famous beaches in the world – Iztuzu Beach. Reached buy boat, this beach is a national conservation area and one of the last breeding places in Europe for the protected loggerhead 'Cretta' sea turtle. Also referred to as Turtle Beach, it stretches several kilometres long, with very scenic surroundings, hot brown sand, and shallow water. Only 15 minutes from Dalaman Airport, this area is considered a great prospect over the next few years.
Uzumlu:
Already a popular town with British Ex pat residents, Uzumlu is an ideal place for a holiday or permanent residence. With its old stone buildings and cobbled streets, it is a delight to wander around and chat with the locals, who while away their time making carpets and lace. “Uzum means grape in English, ad this is in fact one of the major local vine-growing areas. Only 15 minutes from Fethiye, it is convenient but a real haven of tranquility. |
